Terms of Service

Castle Crafters (“Castle Crafters,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) operates the Minecraft Java Edition server reachable at play.castlecrafters.net, the website at castlecrafters.net, and the associated Discord community. We are a small, independent community project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

By connecting to the server, joining our Discord, or purchasing rubies through this website, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the server or buy rubies.

You must own a legitimate copy of Minecraft: Java Edition to play on our server. You must be at least 13 years old to use Castle Crafters, in line with Mojang’s own age requirements. If you are under the age of majority where you live (typically 18), you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian before making any purchase.

Parents or guardians are responsible for any purchases made by minors with their payment method.

We identify players by their Mojang account UUID. Anything that happens under your account — chat messages, builds, trades, and purchases — is your responsibility. Keep your Microsoft / Mojang account secure. We cannot recover items, rubies, or progress lost because someone else accessed your account.

You may not share, sell, or transfer your in-game account, items, or rubies to other players outside of the normal in-game economy.

Castle Crafters is a friendly, low-drama survival community. We expect everyone to act accordingly. The following are not allowed, on the server, on Discord, or anywhere else in the community:

• Cheating, hacked clients, x-ray, autoclickers, or other unfair modifications.
• Griefing, stealing from claims, or destroying other players’ builds.
• Exploiting bugs or duplication glitches. If you find one, please report it to staff instead.
• Harassment, hate speech, slurs, doxxing, threats, or sharing sexual content involving minors.
• Spam, advertising other servers, or large-scale scams.
• Selling rubies, in-game items, or accounts for real-world money outside of our official store.

Staff decisions are final. We may warn, mute, kick, or ban any player who breaks these rules. Bans for cheating, harassment, or fraud are typically permanent and do not entitle you to a refund of past purchases.

Rubies are a virtual in-game currency used inside Castle Crafters. They have no monetary value outside the server, cannot be exchanged for real money, and are not redeemable for cash, goods, or services from any third party. When you “buy” a ruby bundle, you are acquiring a limited, personal, non-transferable license to use that quantity of rubies on your account on the Castle Crafters server.

Tebex is the merchant of record. All payments, taxes, invoices, billing support, refunds, chargebacks, and consumer-rights obligations relating to the transaction itself are handled by Tebex Limited. By checking out you enter into a separate contract with Tebex and agree to their Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Castle Crafters is responsible for delivering the rubies to your in-game account once Tebex confirms the payment.

Rubies normally appear on your account within a few minutes of a successful purchase. If they haven’t arrived after 30 minutes, email us at support@castlecrafters.net with your Tebex transaction ID and we’ll deliver them or coordinate a refund with Tebex. Castle Crafters is not a pay-to-win server. Rubies unlock cosmetics, conveniences, and quality-of-life perks — never raw combat power or progression that gives paying players a meaningful advantage over free players. We reserve the right to adjust, rebalance, or retire perks if they start to feel unfair.

We do our best to keep the server online 24/7, but we don’t guarantee uninterrupted access. The server may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance, updates, hosting issues, or events outside our control. Short outages do not entitle you to a refund.

If the server is permanently shut down, we will give at least 14 days’ notice on our website and Discord whenever possible.

Anything you build, write, or send through the server or Discord (“User Content”) remains yours. By submitting it, you grant Castle Crafters a worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, back up, and showcase that content as part of operating and promoting the server (for example, including a screenshot of your build in our gallery).

You promise that your User Content does not infringe anyone else’s rights and is not illegal, harmful, or otherwise prohibited by these Terms.

The Castle Crafters name, logo, ruby artwork, and original site content are owned by us. Minecraft, the Minecraft logo, and all associated marks are the property of Mojang Studios. Nothing on this site claims ownership of those marks.

Castle Crafters is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the maximum extent allowed by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the server will be error-free, secure, or continuously available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Castle Crafters and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or in-game items, arising out of or related to your use of the server or website.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms is limited to the amount you actually paid us for rubies in the 6 months before the claim.

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we’ll update the “Last updated” date above and post a notice on Discord. Your continued use of Castle Crafters after changes take effect means you accept the new Terms.
